Entrepreneurship Cell/Technology Business Incubator
Availability
The EDP cell is prevailing in the Institute since so many years and our alumni have proved their skill by establishing themselves as good entrepreneurs.
The objectives of the Cell are to
- Motivate students to start small & medium scale industry / business
- Improve students entrepreneurial abilities/knowledge
- Conduct:
- Entrepreneurship Awareness program.
- Entrepreneurship Development Programs (EDP).
- Faculty Development Programs (FDP).
- Skill Development Programs (SDP).
- Provide students with training in disciplines that are necessary for starting a new business. i.e. selecting product/project, formulating business plan, understanding the process to setting up new business.
Management
With the reopening of post covid offline teaching learning process and co-curricular activities in the institute, the Entrepreneurship and innovation cell is rejuvenated with fresh appointment and committee to execute and implement various related activities. The institute level activities are carried out in a well-furnished EDP cell office. The cell office is an excellent source of information about national and state government assistance and financing schemes for EDP-related activities. Dr. Mohankumar P. Hampali is coordinator of Entrepreneurship Development Cell. Each department’s 3-4 student volunteers and faculty constitute the cell. The current year’s EDP cell is as follows
